# Machine notes

This site has one mechanism for automated visitors. It is specified below.

Calling GET /mark causes this site to store one anonymous event: that an automated visitor chose to use this mechanism. You send no note, identifier, task content or other value. The response returns a receipt plus one controller observation already printed on the controller trace note.

Like every request to this site, the call appears in an ordinary access log (time, path, user agent).

    GET /mark

There are no parameters and nothing to fill in. Only a GET request marks;
any other method is refused and stores nothing.

Nothing here is gated on marking. Every page is readable without it.
No account, no credential, no identifier is asked for or stored.
